A Modern Website for a Dog-Loving Lifestyle Brand in Sarasota, Florida
BB Living is a charitable Sarasota-based lifestyle brand with a blog, a shop, and a mission! BB Living collaborates with local small businesses, artists, authors, and crafters to create products that are unique, comfortable, and cool, with each purchase supporting a great cause — helping to care for loveable shelter pups through the non-profit Friends of Manatee County Animal Services in Florida.
The Problem
BB Living needed a new website that not only showcased their support for their furry friends, but made it easy for website visitors to learn more about their great products, partnerships, and mission. They weren’t going to roll over and give up — instead, they called Fingerprint Marketing.
How We Created BB Living’s Fetching New Website
We loved BB Living’s focus on helping shelter animals, and were eager to get started on creating their new website. We designed a bright, friendly, and attractive homepage that spotlighted their charitable mission and showcased not only their shop, but also their blog. This clear organization improves the client journey throughout the website, guiding user flow and encouraging visitors to learn more about the brand and its collaborations. BB Living’s redesigned blog features beautiful photography and eye-catching headers, drawing visitors in and helping them discover exciting local businesses.
We included eCommerce integration in order to help the website raise money for shelter support through product purchases, and included information to help visitors volunteer or foster through the Manatee County Animal Welfare Services. We set up an e-shop using WooCommerce and Stripe, allowing BB Living to accept payments securely and conveniently. BB Living are able to easily add, modify, and remove listings as they continue to collaborate with new local artists, creators, and small businesses in and around Sarasota, Florida. On the back-end, we also removed unused and inactive plug-ins, speeding up the website’s loading time, decluttering its dashboard, and improving website security. We added social media icons to both the header and footer of the website, making it easy for visitors to locate, click, and follow.
In order to infuse BB Living’s online marketing with more ease, we set them up with Constant Contact, allowing them to send branded, professional-looking marketing emails to their mailing list and keep them up-to-date on news and promotions. Fingerprint Marketing continues to support BB Living (and their work for the adorable pups of Manatee County) through our ongoing website maintenance services. Adopt, don’t shop!
