GFS Events offers full-service fundraising solutions exclusively to nonprofit organizations. Based in Sammamish, Washington, founder Gazala Uradnik and her team create, manage and execute events, from auctions and benefit dinners to charity races and golf tournaments. More than just event planners, GFS designs projects through the Development Director’s eyes to increase fundraising at every event.
After GFS lost a large event project because their client didn’t’ feel her online presence represented her capabilities and professionalism, Gazala never wanted to experience that again. She was ready to refresh her brand and position GFS Events as the best professional resource for nonprofits who want to raise more money from their event-based fundraising efforts.
Fingerprint Marketing got to work creating a more polished look for the GFS brand. We started by creating a style guide with vibrant hues of blue, yellow and green that reflected Gazala’s personal style. Next, we pulled together fonts, patterns and graphic styles that mirrored the company’s modern and sophisticated vibe. Finally, we tied it all together by crafting memorable logo variations using clean lines and a serif wordmark.
Gazala’s website didn’t convey her company’s expertise and professionalism. So we reimagined her site’s flow to simplify the visitor experience and help prospective clients find what they’re looking for faster. We then focused on integrating features to keep GFS front and center for decision makers, such as hero images with bold benefit statements and a downloadable pocket guide for retaining nonprofit event volunteers.
To get more prospects in the door (with the potential to become long-term clients), we added a call to action on every page that encourages visitors to schedule a free 30-minute fundraising analysis. Finally, we wrapped things up by integrating social proof by adding nonprofit testimonials and displaying affiliations prominently on the home page.
With their brand-new online presence, GFS Events is easily recognized as the go-to resource for fundraising, event planning and development expertise. Not only does it help them up their game, but it positions Gazala as an essential asset for any nonprofit that’s serious about raising more money from their fundraising activities.
